I had the opportunity to meet Cara as a 1st-year student at International Communication Management.  From the start, she was very enthusiastic about her studies and was keen to help organise the introduction week for new ICM students. She had lots of fun additions in terms of activities and her handling, reassuring and involving the new students went down very well. 

In her position as my assistant and Intro mama she demonstrated critical skills that would make her an huge addition to upcoming Introweeks. Partly due to the fine collaboration during the intro, Cara was the first student I asked to assist me a day a week in all the work of providing a ‘warm welcome’ to ICM students.

Cara did a terrific job in this position and was an asset to our organization during her tenure with the ICM program at Fontys. She has excellent written and verbal communication skills, is extremely organized, can work independently, and is able to effectively multi-task to ensure that all projects are completed in a timely manner. To be honest, I learned a lot from here as such new ways to get even more out of my work digitally.

Because of her  effectiveness, we gave her additional responsibilities, including developing a social program for our international students and providing (online) information on ICM and IB to international students visiting Fontys with their agency. Cara went above and beyond in that assignments, as she does in all tasks.

Cara was always willing to offer her help and had an excellent rapport with the many people served by our office, including students, faculty, staff, employers and other professional organisations.

In my career at Fontys, I have worked with many students. Cara was an exception, a very equal colleague even before she completed her studies.

I wish Cara a beautiful life and an even more beautiful career, she deserves it. Her future employer should consider her/himself lucky to have such an top employee.
